Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Accounting

Summary: Boesen & Snow has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant - Accounting. In this integral role, you will report directly to and support the Firm Administrator, playing a vital part in our organization's operational framework. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing essential administrative support to ensure the seamless functioning of our office.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support in managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Maintain organized financial records and assist in the preparation of financial reports, contributing to monthly and annual closing processes.
- Take ownership of monthly invoicing process and tracking employees' billable time entries.
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping in Quickbooks; manage receipts and advanced client payments.
- Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting to ensure seamless operational flow.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to financial matters, addressing issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and the Firm Administrator on special projects and initiatives to enhance workflow and improve processes.
- Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity.
- Assist firm with other administrative duties, as necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with QuickBooks.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a busy environment.

Job Type: Full-time, in-person
Pay: $20-25/hour DOE, eligible for overtime pay
